From my humble thoughts, it saddens to see / read or hear of such things as honour killing. It seems always woman what happens if the boot is on the other foot? Does the man who shames a family or has an affair be so punished? I have not heard or seen as such. It seems to be empowering a human being over another in the name of religion that surely was not the original intent for such cruel taking of a life, some on excuses that are very lame and discredits the man who rose his hand in the killing blow. I am sure shakes his head in sorrow.
